Just got back from checking the surf. It's starting to come up, with luck tomorrow should have some fantastic surf as we are expecting light winds and of course, a swell. That's normal for Thanksgiving around here. Right now it is raining. Kauai is so much different than where I was on the Big Island. Here, it rain a bit for a few minutes, then it stops and clears up. Then a while later it will repeat the sequence. On the Big Island, it just rained without much let-up. Evidently, that is what I should expect in the next few months around here...steady rain. Like now.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Tomorrow I will go searching for waves and maybe snap a photo or two if it is BIG! Aloha.

I think that is just on the north shore. The south shore often gets rain in the winter and it can rain for a full day, but it is unusual for it to rain day in and day out. That is why it is so crowded.

Happy Thankgiving Puttz. Hope you get a chance to try the traditional T.Day meal: Wild chicken, stuffed with white rice, coconuts and mango. It's a real treat.
